After Chelsea and Bayern Munich joined, the 20-21 UEFA Champions League quarter-finals were confirmed.
The teams that reached the quarterfinals of the second round of the round of 16 between Chelsea and Atletico, Bayern Munich and Lazio on the 18th (Korea time) are Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea (England), Real Madrid (Spain), Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund (Germany), FC Porto (Portugal) and Paris Saint-Germain (France).
Chelsea won the first and second games with a 1-0 victory and succeeded in reaching the quarter-finals in seven years. Munich beat Lazio 2-1 to win the first and second games combined score 6-2.
In the round of 16, Liverpool faced Leipzig and Manchester City faced Hengladbach, while Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain beat Sevilla and Barcelona respectively. Real Madrid and FC Porto have eliminated Italian teams Atalanta and Juventus.
Three of the eight teams are England; no Italian Serie A has ever had a team as Juventus and Atalanta fall from the round of 16. It is only five years since the 15-16 season that all Serie A teams have fallen during the tournament.
Four of the eight teams are German coaches: Edin Teerjich (Dortmund), Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool), Hanji Flick (Bayern Munich) and Thomas Tuchel (Chelsea) will play a rough fight in the quarterfinals. Interestingly, Klopp and Tuhel are also from Dortmund.
It also features the absence of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in the quarterfinals, the first time in 16 years that the two players have not reached the quarterfinals. Messi was a rookie who had just made his professional debut at the time.
The quarter-finals and semi-final draw will be held on the 19th.
Last year's winner is Bayern Munich.
Texas Rangers have announced a second-round roster to return to minor league camp; left-hander Yang Hyun-jong, 33, has avoided the blade again.
Texas Vice President John Blake told his SNS on the 18th (Korea time) that "four camp invited pitchers will move to minor league camp. "Four people, including Drew Anderson, Jason Barr, Jaryl Cotton and Louis Otis," the announcement read.
Blake announced 10 players to go 스포츠중계 to minor league camp in the same way on the 13th. Hans Cross, Justin Foscue, Josh Young, Ferney Osuna, Alex Spears, Bubba Thompson, Steele Walker, David Wendell, Matt Whitney and Justin Anderson.
Texas has invited 72 people to spring camp this year to cover up the rocks, with 14 people now, about two weeks to open, with 58 remaining. Yang Hyun-jong is staying in 58 people and is continuing to compete.
Yang signed a split contract with Texas last month to fulfill his dream of a U.S. challenge: he has to survive in the major leagues to get $1.3 million, and if he adds options, he can get up to $1.8 million.
Texas initially recruited Yang Hyun-jong as a starting pitcher because he thought the pitchers' innings were down as the major leagues played a 60-game short season last year. Yang threw 1,7213 innings last year, more than any pitcher in Texas.
The U.S. media said, "I was not optimistic about entering the opening entry with Yang Hyun-jong in two actual games. If I survive, I will be included in the bullpen entry."Chris Woodward, Texas coach, predicted that he would use the "1 + 1" strategy, and he rated Yang Hyun-jong as a pitcher suitable for "+1".
Yang Hyun-jong started in two games of the demonstration game and earned one save with three innings, three hits (1 home run), four strikeouts and one run.I have not completely erased the question mark now, but in order to survive the remaining two weeks of survival competition, I have to continue to prove myself on the mound.
